From Mark,
With summer winding down and kids heading back to school, it’s a reminder that even though a routine may seem familiar, our reaction to it is quite varied. For example, here in Atlanta, school started on August 1st, which means my 5th grader is nearly a month deep while others are still living their best summer lives. I know this because he tells me. Every. Single. Day. [And yes… I will be 100 years old when he graduates.] Since change is a constant and rarely a linear process, it’s often shaped by a series of steps, missteps, adjustments, and iterations. Think of it like a sculptor refining a piece of clay. Some may cast, whereas others carve, assemble or model. And like a sculptor, businesses must adapt and evolve with an insatiable appetite for growth through iteration. By making changes based on feedback, experiences, data, or new insights, it can refine your approach, improve your results, and ensure you’re not left with a misshapen coffee cup after your sculpting class. [Sadly, mine didn’t survive the morning.] A few months ago, we launched a new format for this newsletter. We had a certain vision in mind, but as we started to hear from you, we realized that we could do better. We heard your feedback, adjusted, and iterated on the format. And the result? You tell us. We’re listening. Iteration isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength. Let’s keep iterating together and building stronger, more successful outcomes. And coffee mugs. Stronger, more successful coffee mugs. |

Consultant-proof your business
Strange thing for a firm like IA to say, we know. But we truly believe that the best thing you can do for your business is start making changes and plans NOW to avoid the need for a larger transformation down the road. And yes…a consultant can help you do this, but we should be there for support and guidance, not park our butts there. That’s why we don’t like consultants either. We are advisors – we want to helpl you reach your true potential and goals.
