From Mark
As we gather around our tables to celebrate this season of Thanksgiving here in the US, we’re reminded that our greatest privilege lies not just in what we receive, but in what we can give. While life throws us curve balls from time to time, we at IA understand how incredibly lucky we are. We partner with amazing clients, doing work we enjoy and we recognize that not everyone has this opportunity. This gratitude comes with profound responsibility – to give back where we can with the support of our subscribers. As many of you know, for every person who subscribes to our newsletter, we donate $10 to one of the four charities of your choice. In this time of giving thanks, we want to take a moment to highlight the remarkable work these groups undertake: The Jason Foundation: The Jason Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth and young adult suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth. Equal Justice Initiative: The Equal Justice Initiative is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society. No Kid Hungry: No Kid Hungry is a national nonprofit organization that works to end childhood hunger in America through multiple approaches, including helping schools and communities provide free meals to children, advocating for legislation to strengthen nutrition programs, and providing grants to local organizations. The Humane Society of the United States: Together with millions of supporters, the Humane Society of the United States takes on puppy mills, factory farms, the fur trade, trophy hunting, animal cosmetics testing and other cruel industries. They fight all forms of animal cruelty to achieve the vision behind their name: a humane society. We are proud to support these organizations. A final thought – this holiday season, we’re grateful for you – our community who helps make these contributions possible. Together, we can create meaningful change in the world around us. Wishing you and yours a beautiful Thanksgiving, |
