You might not know: While he doesn’t own a boat, he loves learning how to fix his future boat from his favorite show, “Ship Shape TV.”

Kimberly Carroll

Principal

Professional experience: Kimberly started her career as a community college math teacher. She loved teaching people re-entering school the basic math skills they needed to move forward. She later worked in construction accounting and financial analysis, then for Fidelity Investments’ HR/PR outsourcing business. She is passionate about change and using her background to influence HR leaders to truly transform their organizations.

Superpower: Serving as a sounding board, therapist, and mentor to her clients.

You might not know: Kimberly is a big sports fan and loves to watch The Food Network and HGTV.

Janine Comito

Senior Advisor

Professional experience: After enrolling in nursing school and finding out the staff had gone on strike, Janine found herself “temporarily” answering phones for a benefits outsourcer. Over 16 years later she’s chosen to stay in the HR industry with experience in a variety of roles. She likes asking “why,” solving problems, and seeing the impact of change.

Superpower: Finding the positive in every situation.

You might not know: She’s an excellent party planner who is famous for baking up a batch of her pumpkin whoopie pies.

Chris Connolly

Professional experience: Chris has lived in Washington, D.C., for more than 30 years, working in a variety of HR roles, including training and learning development, payroll and benefits administration, and HR outsourcing.

Superpower: Cheerfully solving messy problems.

You might not know: In his free time Chris is usually in the kitchen. He loves the art and science of cooking a great meal, and is known among family and friends for his ability to create a gastronomic feast from an empty pantry.

You might not know: She’s an animal lover, with horses, chickens, and cats as pets.

Suman Kamath

Professional experience: Suman has focused her career on helping customers implement software. Her experience ranges from gathering business requirements to leading voice-of-the-customer workshops to user acceptance testing. She focuses on project management, change management, and process improvement.

Director, Business Operations

Professional experience: Alexis manages office operations at IA. Her background is in education: She spent 14 years in the field as a school administrator, working with teachers, parents, and government groups, and seven years teaching the hearing impaired. She has worked as a Spanish interpreter and as a parent-teacher liaison.

You might not know: She was born in Venezuela and has lived in the Bahamas, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
