Jennifer is an HR leader with over 20 years of experience in human resources, talent management, and organizational development.  She fell into HR when she took a temporary administrative position while searching for her “real job” in her college major (marketing), then realized HR was where she truly belonged and never looked back.  Her early career focused on learning & development before moving on to hold roles that included employee relations, talent acquisition, and employee communications as well as talent & organizational development.

Jennifer is a utility player, accustomed to jumping in wherever she’s been needed.  Throughout her career she has often been called upon as the go-to person for new projects and initiatives.  She’s a strong communicator with extensive experience within the retail industry, and familiarity with working through various business cycles and ownership models.

In addition to her normal career responsibilities, Jennifer has also been an HR blogger and speaker, co-founding a multi-contributor blog focused on HR, leadership, and women in the workplace, and has been an active blogger and contributor to various HR conferences, including SHRM National and the HR Technology Conference.
